Moje prezentacije se baziraju na izjavi Naucnika Nikole Tesle das mo mi napravljeni od svjetlosti. Ja to shvatam kao hrpu fotona u raznim kombinacijama. Zato sa kamerom uhvatim neki izvor fotona tj svjetlosti, modifikujem djelove uhvacenog kadra ili cio kadar, rastezem, skupljam svetlost dok nedobijem neku drugu formu to jest kombinaciju koja predtavlja nesto iz naseg zivota, neku stvar iz mikro ili macro svijeta kako to ja zamisljam a nemoguce je vidjeti jer su neke iz buducnosti kao buduce svemirske stanice na putu ka udaljenim galaxijama kao u filmu 2001 godina, ili neke legende, price, romana, drame npr Don Kihot, muzike i svega sto mi padne na pamet ili me inpirise za tu sliku, mjesajuci boje prema raspolozenju. Opsjednut sam jarkim bojama, narocito crvrnom i zutom mjesajuci ljutnju i radost u grcu otkrivanja i jer zivimo u sivoj okolini preko 5 mjeseci za vrijeme zime a da ne govorim o sivilu na univerzalnom planu, ratovima, bjedi, bolestima, exploataciji prirode, ljudi djece i zena u svrhu unistenja svega dobroga sto je stvorila ljudska i pamet i snaga pomognuta konjskom odanoscu kroz vjekove. Dakle slike prestavljaju vrijeme, prostor, svijetlost, religiju i energiju i mnogo toga zagonetnoga sto ni ja njihov stvaralac nevidim a ljepo izgledaju i bude nekakve emocije.

My name is Ilija Males and I was born in Bosnia, but currently I live in Canada. Originally my interests were in mathematics and I was a Math teacher for 25 years in that field, but photography couth my eye about 3 years ago and I have been seriously involved in it since. My photography is based on the theory of Nicola Tesla and his view that we and all that surround us is made from particles of light. I try to catch that light in my photography and modify parts of it to the point of getting light in a form that represents something relevant to our everyday life, a thing from micro or macro world that I imagine. It is like being in a scene of a 2001 space movie mixed with a legend of Don Quixote. I am obsessed by vibrant color, especially red and yellow. To me they are a representation of madness and joy that surrounds us in this cement grey world where war, famine, sickness, and exploitation of innocents are used to the benefit of those who for their interests destroy all good that was created by the genius of men and help of Horses. To put it in simple words my photographs are representation of moments in time and space, light and energy that surrounds us, religion and much more that even I their creator am not able to see at times. Mes présentations sont basé en discours de Nikola Tesla, un savant qui a construit la première Hydro on Niagara Rivière, Il déclare que tout est fondait de la lumière. Je apprends que tous et toute est un ensemble des photons dans une harmonie. Pourtant, je prends des photos de lumière, modifie dans l'autre forme, j’espère harmonieuse, laquelle présente quelqu chose de notre vie, de micro ou macro cosmos qui ressemble aux images de film »L’Odyssée 2001 Année » ou quelque histoire (Don Quichotte ), légende, roman, film, etc. Je suis obsédé par des couleurs rouge, fauve et jaune lesquelles présente la colère auprès de nouveau et l'ancien monde plein de guères, misère, de maladies, d'injustice, d'exploitation de la terre des hommes, des femmes, des enfants, des animaux et de végétation. Toute la nature est en dangers et elle tourne contre tout que l'humanité avec gros aide des chevaux a établi pour notre bonheur pendant des siècles. Dons, mes images présentent le temps, l’espace, la lumière, la religion, l’énergie, etc. Parfois elle son belle sans raison et l’observateur peut trouver quelque chose pour une explication en son façon.

The Photos of Ilija Males have a reduced picture space and they radiate through their surface despite the attempt of the author to depict artistically the illusion of the spatial depth of the picture. This feature of her paintings - characteristic of primitive art (not in a pejorative sense of meaning) and of children's drawings - also corresponds in an excellent way to the desire to present and show artistically an ideal children's world. The reduced picture space is not characteristic only of children's and primitive art, but also of modern artistic expressions. One of the first and basic characteristics associated with the creation of modern painting in 21th century was, precisely, disintegration of the illusion of spatial depth of pictures, its perspective, that is, the illusory third dimension, as the artists since then haven't even tried any longer to realistically imitate the looks of the real world, but craved for its enrichment through their imagination and creativity, which discloses an individual inner relation of the artist towards the depicted world.
